A giant of Harlem has passed away.
The Rev. Dr. Eugene S Callender died at the age of 87.
For many years Callender presided over the Church of the Master in Harlem.
Rev. Dr. Callender also worked alongside Dr. Martin Luther Kind Jr. and served on five presidential commissions.
