Insight On Harlem’s Taystee Bakery Factory Redevelopment

July 29, 2014

Taystee Bakery FactoryNY Curbed report work being underway at the old Taystee Bakery Factory site in Harlem, and that developer Janus Properties is trying to lure tenants to the site with a new batch of renderings and an informational website. New York YIMBY spotted the new images (go to NY Curbed to see more), which, save for the new blue hue, look pretty similar to the last visuals they saw on their last post. The website also has an interior rendering, a shot of an exterior seating area, and show the nearby neighbors. The 300,000-square-foot building will rise 11 stories on West 125th Street near Amsterdam Avenue, and it’s being built to meet LEED silver certification. Several floors will have terraces, and there will be two separate lobbies. Ten to 30 companies will be able to fit in the building, designed by architecture firm LEVENBETTS.
