Juelz Santana At Stage 48 In NYC

Juelz SantanaBorn LaRon James in Harlem, Juelz Santana began writing rhymes when he was a 12-year-old. He started the rap duo Draft Pick with longtime friend Malik. After winning Amateur Night at the Apollo Theatre for two straight weeks, a young Santana was introduced to Cam’ron of The Diplomats fame. Soon, Santana was recording a verse for the track “Double Up,” off of Cam’ron’s album SDE. Santana released his strong debut album, From Me to U, in 2003, and his follow-up, What the Game’s Been Missing!, in 2005. Since, he’s been featured on mixtapes with Lil Wayne, Wale, Jadakiss, Yo Gotti, Wiz Khalifa, as he works to complete his next album Born to Lose, Built to Win.
