A beautiful architectural structure of a multi-story tall apartment building on the corner of 119th Street and Morningside Drive in West Harlem, New York, 1900.
In the foreground the photographer stands at the top of the Morningside Park at the Morningside Drive exit looking northwest. The dark paved over cobblestone streets from left to right Manhattan Drive to 119th Street looking west. The wood shed building to the right reflects Harlem already vanishing history and the real estate development at the turn of the 20th century in west Harlem’s Morningside Heights.
Today the building still sits on the southwest corner of 119th Street and Morningside Drive with its white fingers holding the base of the buildings foundation.
