sherri-shepherd-weddingHarlem resident Sherri Shepherd is now filing for divorce from husband Lamar Sally after he first filed for legal separation on May 2, TMZ reports.

The View co-host’s husband filed after three years of marriage, and is seeking full legal and physical custody of the unborn baby they are expecting through a surrogate this July.

Now, the 47-year-old herself has filed her own divorce docs in New Jersey, claiming irreconcilable differences. However, according to TMZ, Shepherd makes no mention of their expected child in her filings.

TMZ also reports when it comes to the estranged couple’s prenup, in which Sally would get $60,000, he wants the prenup “invalidated on grounds of fraud” whereas the talk show host wants it “enforced.”

Shepherd and Sally tied the knot back in August 2011 at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago. Shepherd was previously married to Jeff Tarpley, with whom she shares 9-year-old son Jeffrey.

“Everyone is in shock,” a source tells Us Weekly of the couple’s issues. “He stopped coming around. She really kept everything quiet.” The source adds: “The baby is not something she was ready to discuss at all. She had to have known things weren’t going well with Sal so didn’t want to say anything” (source).
